June 4 - 10

Time got away from me, much as the multiverse seems to have gotten away from the MCU. (Ooh, that’s right, I inserted my own opinion in here). I didn’t get a post out last week and even this week’s is coming late. I have a few things going on in my life that I need to start planning around in order to get this out in time for next week and going forward. So…apologies.

Walt started with Disneyland and so, dear reader, shall we. It’s June and that means Pride Month. Disney is going all out and for the first time, Disneyland Park will have it’s very own Pride Night. There will of course be special merch and food, along with special items for Magic Key holders as well. Put on your rainbow Ears and enjoy the night.

World of Color show at California Adventure now features a pre show themed with the upcoming film Elemental! This movie looks like a lot of fun and I can’t wait to see it myself.

WDW is also taking part in celebrating Pride. EPCOT now has its own mural commemorating the celebration. We all know how eager Disney is to celebrate, so why not celebrate love with some bright colors? I love the added touch of the Spaceship Earth design being incorporated.

There’s been a lot of entertainment news.

Attention: I repeat, attention: “Ahsoka” will be released on Disney+ on August 24th!

A Hocus Pocus 3 has been announced. “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” has released in theaters (and folks, it’s great). The 4th Captain America film now has a new name (“Captain America: New World Order”) and is slated to be released May 3, 2024. I wouldn’t be surprised if this got pushed back so maybe pencil this into your calendar for now.

See you next week!
